Doctor residence and clinic in Misiones, Argentina
This residential complex had to accommodate the multiple purpose of
providing a serene and private living structure for a family of 5
while also accommodating the activities of a busy professional clinic.
The design concept is based on balancing the functional aspects of
living/working spaces while harmonizing the structure’s presentation.
Separation is accomplished through placement of the buildings --across
each other, with a drop-off driveway as delimiter. The tie-in comes
through a pair of horizontal planes that form an axis and give the
buildings a controlled unifying composition. Salient features of the
house are the open interior floor plan and a backyard with clean-line
terraces, private patio and swimming pool.
